This appeal is taken from a judgment, entered in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Yanthis, M.J.), dismissing as a matter of law an inmates § 1983 claim that prison officials violated his Fourth Amendment rights by conducting a warrantless search of his prison cell. In accordance with Hudson v. Palmer, 468 U.S. 517 (1984), we conclude that a convict has no expectation of privacy in his prison cell. We therefore AFFIRM.
